Here on our little farm, we think through every choice we make. We pray over our decisions, test what works, and sometimes learn lessons the hard way. There are countless ways to raise animals and tend a garden. Various approaches exist to put wholesome food on the table. Many paths are available to enjoy the life we’ve been given. I don’t claim our way is the only way—or even the best—but it is ours and I wanted to share with you.

Over the years, I’ve realized that I unknowingly kept many of my parents’ stories, lessons, and values tucked away in my own heart. In some ways, I held onto them so tightly that I forgot how powerful it can be to share them. This blog is my way of honoring their legacy and passing it forward.
